HOME IS WHEREVER WE ARE TOGETHER - THAILAND

On a recent trip to Ko Phi Phi in Thailand, I had the opportunity to photograph this stunning and super passionate couple.   You know they're adventurous when they wakeup before 6am, do a shoot for 90 min, and then head out on a full day boat tour to multiple islands immediately after.  The benefits of this sunrise shoot were the soft and muted sky, bearable morning temperature, having the beach to ourselves, a low tide giving us a sandbar and pools of water, and the special experience of seeing a visibly bright and large moon.

This 7 week trip has been such a fulfilling and creative outlet for me.  Here are some highlights:

 

• Met and photographed so many amazing couples, individuals and families from all over the world

• I was photographed by an incredible photographer who I admire (and also shot her)

• Photographed a beautiful destination wedding in Bali

• Flew my drone in some of the most spectacular locations

• The change from snowy and/or indoor shoots to incredible countries and new locations

Back to Roxanne and Denis - a lovely couple from Belgium, these two quit their jobs, packed up and left home to travel the world.  They're living day by day, planning adventures and destinations in the moment.   I admire their courage and desire to challenge the norm and lead the life they desire.  Their love and passion for each other is endearing.   We had such a playful shoot - I think this could this be among my favourites to date!
